collaborate with me.

I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable opening up and addressing the challenges that brought them to therapy.

I am formally trained in Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These modalities complement my passion for psychodynamic and attachment theories, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.

“I had such a profound experience in my first Brainspotting session. Christiana provided a safe, engaging and supporting environment. I’m in awe of how much she helped me work through in just one session.”

therapist’s story.

Christiana has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families across home, school, and community settings. Her work involved close collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Education (DOE), fostering a deep understanding of how to support individuals and families in real time. She specializes in helping clients build coping skills and providing families with psychoeducation to navigate challenges effectively.

Christiana expanded her expertise while working in a psychiatric hospital for youth, where she supported families in crisis through individual, family, and group therapy. Her work often addressed critical issues such as suicidal ideation, risky behaviors, and emotional distress, equipping her with unique insights into navigating complex mental health challenges.

Following her tenure at the only residential psychiatric facility in the Pacific, Christiana transitioned to private practice. Initially focusing on adults in a group setting, she eventually established her own private practice, where she continues to empower clients with compassion, skill, and a personalized approach to mental health care.

Support is here.

One-on-one human connection requires every person to be valued as an individual. Your uniqueness, personal values, and belief systems will be held in a non-biased, protected, and respected space. I encourage you to take this next step and invest in your personal growth.

  • This powerful neuroexperiential model is designed to help individuals identify and release the neurophysiological sources of emotional pain, trauma, and distress that may be impacting their well-being. By targeting and addressing these underlying issues, the approach facilitates the processing and resolution of unresolved symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, or physical manifestations of stress. This process supports deeper psychological, emotional, and physical healing, empowering individuals to break free from the constraints of past experiences and move toward a healthier, more balanced state of being. Through this method, clients can gain greater clarity, resilience, and an improved quality of life.

  • A one-on-one therapeutic process provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space where a trained clinician works collaboratively with individuals to better understand themselves and their experiences. This process is designed to help clients improve their emotional well-being, navigate challenges, and develop healthier coping mechanisms to manage life’s difficulties more effectively.

The therapeutic journey also focuses on enhancing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and empowering the client to make meaningful changes in their life. Whether the goal is overcoming anxiety, healing from past trauma, improving self-esteem, or simply gaining a deeper understanding of oneself, the therapist serves as a compassionate guide, helping the individual move toward personal growth, healing, and a greater sense of fulfillment.

  • Therapy sessions for children and adolescents are tailored to address their unique emotional, social, and developmental needs. These sessions focus on helping young individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or life transitions, while fostering resilience and self-awareness. Parenting sessions are designed to support caregivers in developing effective strategies to strengthen their relationships with their children, improve communication, and create a safe and nurturing environment at home. Family sessions bring everyone together to enhance family dynamics, resolve conflicts, and build mutual understanding and trust.

The overarching goals of these sessions include enhancing effective communication skills, teaching and practicing safety strategies to create secure relationships, and helping both children and caregivers regulate and model healthy emotional responses. Through this collaborative process, families can build stronger connections and create a foundation for long-term emotional well-being.
